After about three months of being miserably sick, my doctor (1 of 2) finally found something that would make me feel somewhat normal, so today I got a cold. Even so, I’ve been working the last two days and I’m finally seeing some rewards to reap, but it’s still going to be a week or so before I can spare $80 for new ram. I modded my Logitech “DeLuxe Cordless Desktop.” I still can’t figure out whats so deluxe about my keyboard and mouse, but they were fun to mutilate anyway. Below are pics of my mouse and receiver. The only LED that’s supposed to be there is the one on the underside of my mouse, and it’s supposed to be red. I’ve also changed the wheel from black to clear (a lot harder than it seems it should be, I ended up widening the wheel opening and using a jumper over a supporting piece of some sort. Still not sure of it’s true purpose) to let the blue shine through. I plan to finish my “Thinklights” on the top of my keyboard later this week. Anyway, it’s time to eat my noodles and sleep. I’m hoping to make another blog update along with a site update later this week. Oh, and both those LEDs do flash with the mouse status.
